Well-Strung to Premiere Holiday Show in New Orleans (10/28/2015)
On the heels of their Billboard Top 10 Classical Crossover album, Well-Strung returns to New Orleans with a world premiere holiday show featuring Varla Jean Merman. 'A Well-Strung Christmas' will have its world premiere at Cafe Istanbul on November 27, 28, and 29. The new show has been devised by Well-Strung, Mark Cortale and director Richard Jay-Alexander, and features the group's own unique pop-classical spin on some of the most beautiful and traditional holiday favorites. The new show hosted by Varla Jean Merman will feature holiday favorites like 'Silent Night' and irreverent newly-observed versions of songs like 'I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus' and 'Sleighride,' all the way to George Michael's 'This Christmas' and everything in between. McCarthy; Abingdon Theatre Company's Vice Chair and former Managing Director, Heather Henderson; and one of New York's most prominent lawyers in entertainment, Mark Sendroff.

Well-Strung Adds Another Feather to Their Cap: President Barack Obama (10/7/2015)
Well-Strung has been on quite the roller coaster ride this year. They sold out their summer run at the Art House in Provincetown, with their show Summer Lovin' and got to perform at a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton when their song 'Chelsea's Mom' went viral. Both the opening, and the event were simultaneously (not planned) scheduled.

The Broadway League and The Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds (COBUG) just welcomed Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth as host for the seventh annual BROADWAY SALUTES event last night, September 29, 2015. The event included special guest performances by Nikki M James, Nathaniel Hackmann, Sydney Lucas and Jake Lucas who each performed a song from three shows that opened the year the BROADWAY SALUTES honorees entered the business. In this industry-wide public celebration, theatre professionals received special recognition for having worked 25, 35 and 50+ years on Broadway for their valuable contributions to the business.

Beginning Monday, October 5th, Jennifer Diamond will assume the roles of Louise Lerman and Eve Allabout in RUTHLESS! The Musical at St. Luke's Theatre in the heart of the Theatre District. She's replacing Tracy Jai Edwards who is departing the show to appear in the new musical Gotta Dance, directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell.
